Because cherry is a hardwood it can last a little longer when smoking. Use the Cherry wood smoking chips Napoleon in the Napoleon Smoker Pipe (ref. 67011), the Napoleon Smoker Box (ref. 67013), or in the integrated smokers in Napoleon's barbecues series PRO665/825.
The Wood Chips for Smoking Napoleon can add a wonderful smoky aroma to your food and flavor that varies depending on the type of wood used. The chips can be placed directly on the charcoal in case of a charcoal barbecue. If you have a gas barbecue, simply fill the Napoleon Smoker Box (ref. 67013) with the desired type of wood chips or smoking pellets, that have been soaked for 30-60 minutes before. Then place the smoker box directly on a burner. To do this, remove one grill's sear plate and turn on the gas barbecue. (If you use the Napoleon Smoker Pipe (ref. 67011), place the pipe directly above the sealing plates.) After a short time, the wood chips from the smoker box will begin to fume through the holes and this will refine your food with a wonderful aroma.
